Or, I guess you could call it a soft update. I’ve been eyeing a total overhaul to my site for awhile now, that is still coming. In the meantime have some newish work to show - some of it has been seen here, some of it hasn’t. For those keeping score:
- Redid my Portraits gallery - 2/3rds of it is new work.
- Posted the images of blind cyclist Bobby McMullen (same edit that was here on Tumblr).
- Posted an edit from the Giants/October.
When you have a staff job, it’s so easy to get lazy about keeping your site current. There’s not much incentive, especially compared with our freelance colleagues who live and die with the work their sites get them.
But I’m sick of having such a stagnant home for my stories. I want to participate again. I want to get back to sharing my work, and keeping better track of what my peers are doing, and pushing myself to shoot more.
Stay tuned here for more work - I’ve got a couple things I’m stoked about in my queue, including some stuff from Spring Training where I got distracted and photographed light poles for a couple hours one night.
